EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)

An extremely versatile material known for its feather-light weight, durability, flexibility and non-toxic properties, in addition to its superior shock-absorption capabilities. Available in a wide selection of thicknesses, densities and colours. EVA materials are used primarily in the composition of Pedia plantar orthotics and insoles.

A. Top Cover : 0.5 to 2mm

  • Density  25-30 A
  • Closed-Cell (EVA)

B. Interface: EVA 30 to 45mm

  • Density 40-60 A
  • Shock and vibration absorption
  • Maintains its shape, flexibility and suppleness
  • Dissipates heat, repels moisture, keeps foot drier.

C. Base : EVA 3 to 30mm

  • Density  70-85 A
  • Base shell of the insole

D. Heel:

  • Variable heel cup from 0 to 20mm
  • Maximum heel clearance
  • Versatile and adapts to all types of boots and shoes

E. Arch:

  • Variable height adaptable to different types of feet
  • Progressive arch provides a maximum contact surface with the foot so as to eliminate those pressures which can cause pain and discomfort
  • Arch support to help stabilize posture and improve joint alignment

F. Forefoot:

  • Minimum height of 2 mm
  • Maximum clearance of the forefoot for resistance and stability
  • Versatile and adapts to various types of shoes
